Custom LUTs

Creating high-quality, custom color transformations is the backbone for many of our products and services. They range anywhere from creating stylistic looks, matching multiple cameras together, optimizing a sensor’s color response, or performing colorspace conversions. These transforms can be stored inside a 3D LUT (Look-Up Table) for easy application in the future.

It is important to note that not all LUTs are created equal. We strive to maintain a high level of build-quality, and to ensure our LUTs avoid introducing banding and other unwanted artifacts.

Colorspace Conversion

Colorspace management is a necessary step for final delivery – ensuring the picture is correctly formatted for broadcast or theatrical exhibition. We can assist with converting between various formats and create transform LUTs that output to the correct colorspace for your project.

LUT Repair

It may be possible to repair some damaged LUTs that exhibit banding or color artifacts. The results will vary on a case-by-case basis.

The viewing gamma has been increased to help show where the original LUT starts to break down.
